Nireekshana — Anu Roy Samuel ft. Rufus Ganta

“Nireekshana”— a declaration, a decision of unwavering faith, a cry of the heart, and a reminder of God’s promises. Penned by Anu Roy Samuel in 2017, this song has now become a lived psalm of her journey: choosing the resurrected life of Christ and pursuing His glory even in the valley of the shadow of death.

Through loss, questions, doubts, fears, and relentless sorrow arose a chorus proclaiming His salvation, His victory, and eternal communion with our King. Nireekshana is not just another release—it’s a sound of faith lived out, a worshipper choosing hope when everything else has been stripped away.

Anu, a worship leader at Heaven’s Culture Church, lives out what it means to be a laid down lover—worshipping Jesus even in seasons of loss and pain. This song is dedicated to her late husband, Pastor Samuel Anand, whose final project was a message of hope. Alongside her is Pastor Rufus Ganta (Sound of the Nations), a pioneer in Telugu worship, with production by John Rohith.

The heart of Nireekshana is clear: Do not lose courage. Do not give up perseverance. Do not let hope fade. It calls believers to fix their eyes on Jesus, the One who strengthens and restores in His time.

Today, these lyrics rise with new meaning. They’re not just words on paper, but the cry of a worshipper choosing hope over despair, strength over weakness, surrender over self. This is the sound of a laid down lover—someone who continues to worship, even when life has been stripped bare.

The bridge draws from a well-known Sound of the Nations chorus: “Yesu naa rakshana, Yesu naa nireekshana” (Jesus is my salvation, Jesus is my hope). It ties generations of worshippers into one shared declaration of faith.
