As it says in Isaiah 6:8 “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” In times where it’s easy to swoon away with wordly desires and pleasures, each of us as Christians and servants of God have a duty to pick up our sickles, and reap the harvest that is plenty for the Kingdom of God. There is an invitation for the Great Commission- where our mission is to share the gospel with all nations and people, ensuring its reach extends to every corner of the world. We demonstrate the power and truth of the gospel through miraculous acts performed in the name of Jesus, serving as testimony to its transformative impact. As new believers embrace the message, we baptize them, symbolizing their commitment to Christ and their entry into the family of believers. Moreover, we take on the responsibility of nurturing and guiding these individuals, providing discipleship and support as they grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Utho Jago Chalo is an anthem of the Spirt of the Lord dwelling inside every believer to wear their full armours, and set out onto the field to run the race and gather His lost sheep, to reach the ends of the world and reflect Jesus and His salvation that was done for mankind to know and worship one God and one King- Yeshua Massiah. This is the lifestyle of living unashamedly for the Gospel – to be imitators of Christ as well as His mission of claiming back what was always His- the bride of Christ. As said in Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” So, wake up from your slumber, rise up from your empty coffins of complacency, as His coming is near, and the joy that would ensue to witness every knee bow, and every tongue confess that “Jesus Christ is Lord. ”
