Even when we walk in the valley of the shadow of death, we fear no evil, as the King of Kings who has promised never to leave our side, fights our enemies for us. Yet I will praise you – is a song of hope that reminds a Christian- to trust in the Lord and exalt His name in all situations, be it on the highest mountain or the deepest valley. The world could trick us, but not our LORD. He is our Faithful and True Saviour, who always resides with us and washes over us with endless grace. He is a promise keeper who can bring rivers of joy in our barrenness. He is our everlasting Light and the only one who could open the scroll and deserves to be glorified regardless of our circumstances.
Oh my soul, take courage and praise the Lord for He is worthy of the abundance of your gratitude and worship. Seek not your will, but that of His kingdom, and even when things won’t go your way- you’re created to submit to Him in awestruck wonder and love.
