A home is a safe and secure place, where you can be your true self. It is where we find ourselves at the end of the day—a place of rest, comfort, and safety. This is where we get nourished and refreshed, and begin our day. And no matter where we go, this is where we’d come back to.
As Children of God, when we dwell in Him, we are living in His presence. This means that we are constantly aware of His love and care for us. It also means that we have access to His wisdom and guidance. To live with Him means we are being transformed into His likeness. This means that we are becoming more like Jesus Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions.
We experience the joy and peace of the Holy Spirit. This peace is not dependent on our external circumstances, but on our relationship with God. We were once dead but now alive, we were lost but found, and God with His love makes us worthy. So let us continue to dine and commune with Him.
Lyrics for “Till Our Hearts — Robin William ft. Prem Anand & John Israel”
VERSE
One thing I ask and seek
Let me dwell at Your feet
My life belongs to You
To be lost and found in You
CHORUS
If home is where my heart is,
Let me dwell in Your house
If home is where Your heart is,
I make room for You to dwell
Till our hearts are in Communion…
BRIDGE 1
Once lost, now I’m found,
Caught up by Your love
Felt unworthy,
But you called me Your delight
BRIDGE 2
Once dead, now I am
Alive in Your embrace
You make me worthy,
You help me come to my senses
