The Assamese worship song “Loi Juwa Muk” (Take me, oh Lord) is a surrendered supplication from our hearts to our Lord and Savior Jesus to take us deeper into His plans for our lives, As there is always peace at the core of God’s perfect will, the song expresses our desire to only obey the voice of our Shepherd and to do what pleases Him. As the only good shepherd, Jesus has laid down His life for His sheep, as He promised and continues to tend, nurture and lead his flock into goodness and mercy, all the days of our lives.
To be rest assured in the promise of His unconditional love and grace over our lives, and to know that His plans for us would always lead to the borne fruit of ‘Ruach’ — the Spirit of Yeshua Himself, we can submit our own ways and desires and lay down our lives in His call for obedience and oneness, with Him being our joy, our delight and our one true love.
